Irene Banham Furniture

I am a designer and maker of fine furniture and I love to create wood pieces that are both practical and beautiful. The natural variability of wood constantly inspires me, and my designs are shaped by a blend of past and present influences—everything from my surroundings and travels to the everyday objects we rely on. Bespoke furniture is my primary work, but I also make a range of items that I make in very small batches. Precision and attention to detail are at the heart of my work, ensuring each piece embodies the highest level of craftsmanship. The ultimate satisfaction in my work comes when a creation is put into use, offering lasting beauty and function for years to come.
