A bespoke writing desk in fumed English Oak and Sycamore, with curved back and shelf and single full width drawer and removable legs.

A charming timeless desk design with a nod to the traditional and classical, this desk is made from beautiful prime grade quarter sawn English Oak and fumed to give a rich dark brown with golden hues. A laminated curved surround nestles a simple shelf for extra surface and organisation and gives a slight sense of seclusion to aid concentration and focus. A discreet slot just under the shelf allows access for charger cables. A slim single draw with bright, contrasting creamy white English Sycamore and tactile carved oak pulls, runs full width and is deep enough to take up to A2 size pads of paper. The turned legs thread into the base and can be easily removed so that the whole desk can be transported easily. The structure and material dimensions have been care fully thought out to keep the desk as lightweight as possible whilst maintaining rigidity and strength, making it easy to occasionally transport and take with you to a writing retreat.
