Pillow Bench

“Surely that’s a nice fluffy cushion?!” But wait! What first appears to be padding of the finest goose down is actually wood! Rippled sycamore, to be precise. Whatever next. The “pillow” sits on a scorched ash bench that takes a cue from Japanese torii gates, because why not.
I've often thought about making more of these in other combinations of timber. In fact, I'd really like to. Could come in all (bench-ish) shapes and sizes.
