Our customer for these striking wardrobes had a clear idea of what she wanted, and the mood board she created gave a steer towards generous curved elements, vibrant colours and simple, classic proportions.

Behind the painted tulipwood outers are birch plywood cabinets, with a pair of clothes rails and plenty of shelf space, but the dramatic effect of these pieces comes from their rounded features. These soften their presence in the room whilst creating an almost monumental solidity at the same time - a combination of effects that shouldn’t work but, as you can see from the photos, does so with style.
