The George Chair is an elegant and strong stackable chair, handcrafted and designed to be used in everyday life, from cafes, restaurants and meeting rooms to your own home.

Utilising full mortise and tenon joinery rather than dowels and drawing upon experience and material knowledge, keep strength and material thickness where needed and pared back where possible. The back legs, backrest and seat slats are all steam bent which allows the profiles to be kept slim, lightweight and with flex, whilst retaining all the strength of the wood. The steam bending process not only retains strength in bent forms, but minimises wasted timber associated with other methods.

George Stacking Chair is available in Ash, Olive Ash or Oak with a slightly whitened oil finish for Ash and a clear matt oil finish for Oak as standard options. You can get in touch here.
