English Walnut and Sycamore

The oval table top allows guests to interact more openly, even on the same side of the table. When you compare this to a traditional rectangular table, conversing with others in a line can prove restrictive. Crafted from two large sections of English Walnut jointed together.

The legs were created with thin layers of sycamore, carefully selected and laminated to create two identical sweeping curves. Additional tapered cuts on the sides of these components create a subtle relief to the overall form. These bold yet elegant legs create a real striking presence.

Overall the piece conforms to no straight lines and challenges the ordinary of what we perceive to be an everyday piece of furniture.
