The Mono stool/table is a monolithic block of solid sycamore wood. Simply a cube atop a stumpy cylinder in outline, yet adorned with a tactile carved texture and punctuated by smooth, deep circular reliefs serving both as counterpoint to the surrounding texture and as means of gripping and manoeuvring the weighty piece. Finished in white oils and waxes the bone-like colouring brings a sense of calm to Mono's otherwise bold and assertive presence.
