In 2023 I was lucky enough to be the first maker invited to the residency programme developed by Isabelle Moore at her studio in Edinburgh. I created a brief - to explore the use of 'waste' rips of timber in furniture-making, and spent a wonderful couple of weeks with Isabelle and the other makers at her shared workshops, playing with designs and exploring the material. This chair was the final piece.
