This piece was made to fit a particular niche in a particular kitchen, but is endlessly adaptable. A classic combo of cupboards to hide things and shelving to show them off, with a fabulous panel of individual oak reeds that subtly shows off the rich character of this storm-fallen oak from the farm. The oak was fumed the old-fashioned way using ammonia - though not the really old-fashioned way using the fumes from horse urine, which didn't seem appropriate for a kitchen.

The shelf brackets incorporate neatly concealed fixings, and the system can be tailored to fit any space.
